Through and beyond

Painted design for a stained glass window. I was fascinated by glass for a time. The line from the old hymn ‘A man who looks on glass, on it may stay his eye, or if he pleases through it pass, and then shall heaven espy’ wandered round and round my head for a number of years. I designed windows and painted glass and mirrors. This was a rough design for a window in a friends house looking out onto their field. We were both inspired by celtic design having visited The Hill of Tara
